1. What is Sewing One o’ One e-class?

Sewing One o’ One e-class is a step by step, picture by picture class that you download to your own computer. The advantage of an e-class is that you have an immediate access to information and once downloaded can use it at your own pace.

2. What is my sewing level?

Beginner - it is your first time or you’ve learnt how to sew long time ago and you feel that you need to start all over again.
Intermediate - You know your equipment and tools, you’ve done several alterations or sewing projects but while sewing you’ve had way too many problems.
Advanced - you are very good, but want to get better or else planning to charge for your work but don’t feel confident enough yet.

3. How do I purchase an e-class?

Proceed to E-classes. Find your sewing level first: beginner, intermediate or advanced. You can browse by categories or use “Search” to find the right project. Each e-class will have a level, price and a short description. If satisfied use ADD THIS TO MY CART tab at the bottom of the screen. That will take you to YOUR SHOPPING CART CONTENTS window. If you are not finished just go back by using BACK TO SHOPPING button or CHECK OUT WITH PAY PAL if you are done.

4. What is Pay Pal?

Pay Pal is an easy, safe and most popular online payment option. You don't have to have PayPal account in order to shop online. You can pay with Credit Card and Pay Pal will act as an intermediary between buyer and a seller. When you use their services, seller receives payments without ever seeing your financial information and is responsible for transaction fees.

5. How to open Pay Pal account?

1.Go to www. paypal.com.
2.Click the Sign up link.
3.Select the country or region where you live and your language preference.
4.Click under Personal account .
5.Type your email address. Type your password, then retype it.
6.Type in your name, middle name and last name
7.Type date of birth
8.Type your address, and phone number.
9. It will ask you to link your Credit Card
10. Click Agree and Create account
11. It will ask if you would like to link your bank account.
12. Once you log out and log in, it will ask you to choose security questions and answers
13. Choose you nationality or country
14. You will be getting an e-mail to activate your account.
15. Enter your password to confirm your e-mail address.
You are ready to shop online!

6. How do I download an e-class?

1. “Thank you! We appreciate your business!” page will appear.
2. Click download at the bottom right corner. Please, make note of an expiry date and how many downloads you are allowed.
3. IMPORTANT: Pop-up menu will appear, WRITE DOWN the file name that will be downloading to your computer.
4. Click Save file.
5. Once downloaded, find the file and open it. If you can’t locate the file, enter the file name into Search.
You will need Acrobat Reader to view the file. If you don’t have one, please download from www. adobe.com

7. How many times can I download an e-class after I paid for it?

It is five times and there’s an expiry date. This information will be available to you once you’ve paid and ready to download.

8. I’ve downloaded an e-class, but can’t find it on my computer.

When pop-up window will appear, please, make sure to write down the name of the file so you can Search it if you don’t know where it has been downloaded. To view our files, you need Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you don’t have one go to www.adobe.com, it’s free.

9. Is there a free sample of an e-class?

Yes, we offer a free sample of an e-class just to give you an idea. We had choose the simplest project to suit everyone’s sewing ability.

10. Can I skip a class?

We strongly recommend taking all of the beginner classes. Intermediate and advanced classes are more optional.

11. Should I go through the Free Stuff first before I purchase any class?

Yes, please. We’ve tried to put together basic but helpful information for free. The most important section is common sewing problems. It’s based on our own experience and experience of hundreds of sewers, so you might encounter them at some point or another.

12. Can I order a paper copy instead of downloading?

No. We are really sorry. It takes way from the concept of our website where information is available for you at a click of a button plus THINK GREEN!

13. Can I use your material to teach my own classes?

No. All the classes are for personal use only. The copyright to all information on this website is held by Uptown Sewing. Distributing, reselling or using our material to teach your own classes is against international copyrights and laws of Canada.

14. Can I get a refund on my classes?

No. We are really sorry, but ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Due to nature of our business there’s no way to determine if material wasn’t accessed and used after a sale. Before purchasing your class, please, read the description carefully and make sure you are on the right level: beginner, intermediate or advanced.

15. Is there a discount on purchasing several classes at once?

No, we don’t recommend buying too many e-classes at once. It’s more effective going step by step, project by project and most important - finishing it!

16. Do I pay taxes?

Sales taxes are applied for Canadian customers only and there’s no taxes for international buyers.
