FREE SEWING CLASSES

Thank you for checking out our Free sewing classes! As we’ve mentioned before, Sewing One o’ One e-classes are step by step picture by picture sewing instructions that are very easy to follow. Before proceeding with classes, please, read our free sewing machine, serger and common sewing problems sections. If you are a beginner, we recommend having your sewing machine and iron instruction manuals handy as well. Beginner lessons are the most important. They are the ABC’s of your sewing knowledge. Please, take your time and don’t skip any of the steps and you will enjoy sewing free of stress in the future. If you are an advanced sewer, these free lessons will give you an idea of how the other e-classes are going to look like.

1. Free Sewing One o’ One e-class # 1
All(L1-Class1) - hemming stretch pants (trousers) Working with stretch fabric can be challenging for a beginner. But we figured that hemming stretch pants is a good project to put out for free, as it is the third most wanted project after hemming regular pants and jeans. If you are a beginner, please, make sure to use fusible bonding web. Once inserted between two layers of fabric and pressed, it prevents stretchy fabrics from moving while sewing. Download

2. Free Sewing One o’ One e-class # 2
All(L1-Class2) – hemming jeans (euro-hem) Euro-hem or designer hem is just a variation of a hem that is most commonly used on jeans. The difference is that euro-hem preserves the original hem while regular hem gets rid of it. It is more time consuming and involves serging. If you don’t have a serger you can finish edges using your regular sewing machine. As euro - hem is not as durable, it is recommended on light-weight designer jeans only.
